Tour of Hope 2003
Since the Safford family moved to Stewartstown, PA on July 1st of 2003, things were kind of hectic around the household and I could not commit to a ride with my TNT buddies. So, to keep my promise of doing a cancer event a year, I decided to sign up for the Tour of Hope ride in Washington, DC on October 18th. It was the first Tour of Hope event sponsored by the Lance Armstrong Foundation and it was truly a memorable experience to watch the 26 cyclists who had performed a relay across the United States pull on in to our nations capital.
